Linda Cobb worked in the voluntary and statutory sector in welfare rights, housing, mental health, and disability for 16 years. Moving from front line work to management and strategic planning she became increasingly concerned about designing accessible services for service users. Linda

Wendy Smith has worked for over twenty years in the fields of management, childcare and personal development. After qualifying as a social worker she specialised in child protection. She has been developing and delivering consultancy, training and coaching for over ten years. Wendy has particular expertise in - Providing consultancy in a range of aspects Coaching - both within organisations and privately Training in many areas including -
She also provides a range of management and personal development courses. She is responsible for undertaking monthly "Regulation 33" visits and some interim management in a number of children's units and private organisations within London boroughs. She lectures for Birbeck College, the University of East London and the University of Westminster on women's studies and management programmes such as the health and social care management programme (certificate and diploma). Wendy is a trained and accredited advocate working for The Voice of the Child in Care. She is a qualified OFSTED Registered Nursery Inspector and undertakes inspections around the country in a variety of settings. Wendy has published a book and training packs relating to communication, management of equality and a Leaders and Managers supervision and performance appraisal toolkit. As an NVQ Assessor she is able to develop programmes to provide underpinning knowledge that contributes to portfolio completion.
